May 1st Netflix fandom was introduced to a new series about three married couples being tested when one divorces, complicating their tradition of quarterly weekend getaways. Four seasons, four different trips, and four different sequences of events. The Four Seasons takes you on an epic journey of long-term relationships and the thoughts of what could’ve been.

Six old friends head for a relaxing weekend away, only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up. The three couples, Kate (Tina Fey) and Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani), are completely upended by the news. Over the course of a year, we follow the friends on four vacations, and watch how this shake-up affects everyone’s dynamic — sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface. Co-created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, THE FOUR SEASONS is a hilarious and heartfelt love letter to long marriages and old friendships. Based on the 1981 feature film by Alan Alda of the same name.

Chris and Will had the pleasure of screening this 8-episode miniseries. “The show was so relatable, I mean everything from how one feels about how the other one does or says,” they explain. Five stars are given to this realistic comedic show, which doesn’t end the way you think it does. “I love projects that aren’t predictable, and this one certainly threw me off the predictable path,” Chris states.

Unpredictable events and unpredictable ways to respond to a situation that we just so happen to be caught up in. This new series places you inside the shoes of one or more of the characters. What would you do? What would you do differently? How would you handle living through the seasons? Do you think this harms the relationship? You just have to find out for yourself.

Now playing on Netflix, and don’t forget to join Chris and Will for more broadcasts on their podcast show “What About Our Life?” via your iHeartRadio app or on their website at chrisandwill.com.
