Hersheypark, PA- 8.27.2024- The world's tallest Screamin' Swing, leaving gravity behind, can only be found at Hersheypark.
Hersheypark, Pennsylvania's largest amusement park, has unveiled details of its brand-new 2025 Twizzlers Twisted Gravity ride. Set to be the world's tallest Screamin’ Swing, it will debut in the summer of 2025.
The thrill begins as riders meeting Hershey’s height requirement (48-54 inches) climb 137 feet, reaching speeds of 68 miles per hour, and experience several zero-gravity moments while swinging over Spring Creek in The Hollow area of Hersheypark.
Crafted by S&S Worldwide, this Twizzlers-themed attraction is the latest addition to the iconic Hersheypark skyline. Visitors will choose from four themed zones on two gondolas, adorned with Twizzlers Strawberry, Cherry, Hershey’s Chocolate, and Black Licorice designs.
Hersheypark is unique in offering guests the chance to take a selfie with a Twizzlers Character, measure up to the Twizzlers height category, and enjoy a ride on the Twizzlers-themed train on the Candymonium hypercoaster.
"We are committed to enhancing our attraction experiences by incorporating distinctive Hershey brands. We're excited to introduce a Twizzlers-branded Screamin’ Swing to our unparalleled collection of rides next summer," stated Vikki Hultquist, Vice President of Hersheypark & Entertainment Operations. "Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will offer guests the ultimate thrill and unprecedented views of our park's stunning 121 acres as they reach new heights and defy gravity."
Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will complement over 70 rides, a water park, and a zoo, all included with admission, as part of the three parks in one. Set to open in the summer of 2025, Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will operate throughout all four seasons, weather permitting.
